We hope everyone has had an enjoyable winter break. There are some important meetings and events coming up:

The JHAWK Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20th at 7 pm in 1014 OM. We will be discussing the upcoming Board elections as well as other exciting things planned for this semester.  Also, if you are interested in attending 2010 ACHE Congress there will be a meeting afterwards to discuss ACHE Congress travel and lodging plans. We suggest those who are planning on attending 2010 ACHE Congress attend this meeting!

JHAWK and KCPLC (Kansas City Program Local Chapter) Networking Event is scheduled for Monday, January 25th at 7 pm in B018 SON. JHAWK is hosting this networking session with members of KCPLC.  Three presenters will be discussing various topics including networking, professional job searching, resumes, interview preparing and ways to sell yourself to prospective employers.  The program itself will last for 30-45 minutes and immediately following will be a 20 minute Q & A session.  The presenters will be able to meet for 10 minutes with groups of 4-6 individuals for a breakout session in rooms B011 SON or B012 SON.  At the conclusion of these events, a reception will be held in the atrium in the School of Nursing around 8:30 pm.
